Welcome to Northville, Michigan

The city of Northville is a unique historical community located on the western edge of the Metro Detroit area. It is about 30 miles from both of the popular downtown districts of Detroit and Ann Arbor. Currently there are around 6500 residents here. In 1867 Northville was originally incorporated as a village and then in 1955 as a city. There is also easy access to all major expressways via   I-275 which connects to I-96, I-696, I-94, M-14 and I-75. A large part of Northville's desirability is its "small-town" atmosphere. The wonderful Historic District with its beautiful 1930's Victorian style architecture adds immensely to Northville's special ambiance. Walking the quaint downtown district is a delight with its stylish art galleries, unique clothing boutiques, theaters and restaurants which are all situated around the new eye-catching "town square".
